BROAD IS NEW FITNESS DOUBT FOR INDIA TESTS

ENGLAND were sweating on the fitness of Stuart Broad last night for the Test series against India after he was sent for a scan on his injured left ankle. Broad felt a twinge after bowling eight second-innings overs of Nottinghamshire’s match against Worcestershire. His England strike partner Jimmy Anderson is nursing a shoulder problem and Chris Woakes is also a fitness worry.
