SHE has only just made her comeback after a year off to have her first child.

But Serena Williams might need a few more years away from the tennis court if she follows the wishes of her millionaire husband Alexis Ohanian.

Mr Ohanian has revealed that he wants another four children with his tennis champion wife. Their daughter Alexis Olympia was born in September and Miss Williams, 36, came back to major tennis in May at the French Open.

Her tech entrepreneur husband spoke about his dreams of a big family as she prepared for her Wimbledon comeback today. An only child, Mr Ohanian said: ‘Mom is so focused on work right now, but we’d love to have more,’ he said. ‘Early on, I joked about wanting a football team. I’ll settle for a basketball team of five although I don’t think that’s going to happen.’

‘Serena’s got more work to do. In France [at the French Open] she flipped another switch. She’s always had this resilience and toughness, mentally and physically, but now she has this mom strength button that she pushes and it’s just so powerful,’ he told The Sunday Times Magazine.

Talking about their daughter, the internet investor said: ‘She has a lot of grace and a lot of swagger.

‘I think she’ll be a super athlete and a super businesswoman. I really want to give her the opportunities my parents made for me.’

The 35-year-old, who founded the social network and media platform Reddit, said he was surprised when Miss Williams learnt she was pregnant just two days before the Australian Open in January 2017.

She asked him to fly across the world to meet her, then presented him with a paper bag filled with six positive pregnancy tests. The father said their ten-month-old now travels a lot with her parents. ‘She got her first bout of jetlag on a trip to Abu Dhabi when she was only a few weeks old,’ he said. ‘It helps that the grand slams are usually in big cities, so there are usually tech conferences.

‘Being in London is great because we have investors there, so Serena will train in the morning and I will take meetings.’

The internet entrepreneur, who met Miss Williams in Rome 2015, said: ‘There is a set of values that we share: work ethic and competitiveness.

‘I thought I was the hardest-working person on the planet, in the hardest-working industry, but watching my wife is a humbling experience.’
