Nadal’s got £550k time on his hands

-

WHAT costs £550,000 and is red and yellow all over? Rafael Nadal’s Wimbledon watch.

The brightly-coloured Richard Mille timepiece glistened on the wrist of the world number one at SW1 yesterday. Made especially for the tennis star, the colours are an homage to his homeland of Spain.

The £550,4 2 RM27-03, pictured, weighs just 20 grams and can withstand a G-force of 10,000.

It certainly helped the 17-time Grand Slam winner on court, as he won his first round match against Israel’s Dudi Sela in straight sets.

Nadal is brand ambassador for Richard Mille, which only produced 50 of the watches. He was first spotted wearing it at the French Open.
