TOTTENHAM LEAD CHASE FOR GREALISH

TOTTENHAM have emerged as clear frontrunners to sign Jack Grealish. Manager Mauricio Pochettino wants to add the 22-year-old to his squad having tracked his progress last season. Negotiations over a fee are expected as transfer window activity begins to pick up pace but Aston Villa want £30million for the England Under 21 international. But their need to make £40m in savings may see Spurs make an initial offer in the region of £15m, which Villa are looking to push above £20m. It is understood Grealish, on a pre-season training camp in Portugal, would be open to the switch.
