the merits of Defence Secretary Gavin Williamson’s proposal to give an amnesty to Ira terrorists as the price for ending the witch-hunt against British troops who served in Northern Ireland, he shows gross misjudgment by putting this offer in writing. these are very sensitive matters. above all, it is wrong-headed to equate the murders by terrorists with the actions of British soldiers who were simply doing their duty for Queen and country.
