Princess bounces back from hip op to join women in white
PRINCE PHILIP, 96, induced awe and disbelief by marching into the Royal Wedding without even a walking stick just six weeks after undergoing a hip replacement.
His display of stoicism, I can disclose, has been emulated by Princess Michael of Kent, 73.
‘She has had a recent hip operation,’ confirms MarieChristine’s spokesman.
Taking advantage of her speedy recovery, the wife of the Queen’s cousin Prince Michael attired herself in diaphanous white and strode along to Lady Annabel Goldsmith’s summer party at her Georgian home, Ormeley Lodge, in South- West London. MarieChristine was joined by her 37-year-old daughter, Lady Gabriella Windsor, who also opted for white, as did Lady Annabel’s television producer daughter Jemima Goldsmith, 44, and her pal Laetitia Cash, 44, daughter of veteran Eurosceptic MP Sir Bill.
