Family adventure calling!

-

SUMMER family breaks start with the basics — the sun on your face, the sound of the surf and the sand between your toes as you unpack a picnic on a golden beach. Then they are all about spending quality time together — and building fun-fuelled family memories.

So, with the long school holidays looming fast, now is the time to ensure you have plenty planned to fill these precious weeks — and stave off any cries of ‘I’m bored!’.

Take your crew to a lodge or self-catering cottage for a stretch of freedom, where you set your own schedule based around a wellequipped home-from-home.

Then head out to air shows, rollercoasters, sea life centres, zoos, vinegary fish and chip lunches and baffling mazes in the grounds of stately homes.

Or bed down in a hotel where there are organised activities to keep even the most demanding tot or teen happy — and a blissful spa where grown-ups can recharge their batteries for an hour or two.

Temperatures have nudged up nicely this summer, so it’s time to gather the clan and head out there for a fun break or multi-generational getaway with something for all the family to enjoy. Hello sunshine!
