NO 15 seed Elise Mertens is a talent, but she may be blown away by the pocket rocket who did for Jo Konta. Dominika Cibulkova has been a woman on a mission this fortnight, having been bumped out of the seedings by the decision to place Serena Williams at No 25. Grass has been the least productive surface for Mertens but it suits Cibulkova’s flat, forceful groundstrokes.
