BOLTON CANCEL FRIENDLY AFTER PLAYERS STRIKE

BOLTON’S friendly with St Mirren today has been cancelled as the team’s players have gone on strike. The squad are boycotting the fixture with the Scottish side over unpaid wages and bonuses. A statement from Bolton said: ‘Bolton Wanderers can confirm that Saturday’s friendly game against St Mirren has been called off. The football club would like to apologise for any inconvenience this will cause.’
