Show’s presenter splits from fiance
SHE spends her summers playing matchmaker for hopeful singles on reality show Love Island.
But Caroline Flack may need some help finding love herself after she called off her engagement to The Apprentice contestant Andrew Brady after a five-month whirlwind romance.
Miss Flack, 38, is currently fronting the ITV2 dating show and is wearing a diamond engagement ring in much of the promotional material.
But yesterday she said: ‘I’m sad to announce Andrew and I have decided to part ways. Unfortunately it was not to be. I wish him all the best.’ Referring to the house the Love Island contestants stay in during the show, she added: ‘At least there’s a Villa waiting for me.’
The presenter shocked fans in April, announcing she was engaged to Brady, whom she had met only three months before.
At the time, the star said she was ‘completely in love’, getting a tattoo of his initials and even buying a dog together.
Celebrity Big Brother star Brady, 27, also confirmed the news, writing online: ‘Sad to announce Caroline and I have decided to part ways. Unfortunately it was not meant to be.’
