All hands on deck as Sir Elton goes aboard

NO CHANCE of Sir Elton John, 71, slumping into a deckchair when he’s beside the seaside, even if he does need a little help from his friends when it comes to getting back into a boat.

The singer and his husband David Furnish, 55, enjoyed a day at St Tropez’s swanky Club 55.

Wearing a sky-blue Gucci shirt emblazoned with a single red chevron, Sir Elton clutched sevenyear-old son Zachary’s hand as they strolled along the seafront looking at toy pirate knives

David, in a black shirt with vibrant red and yellow piping, held onto their other son, Elijah, five.

The family were joined by actor Neil Patrick Harris, his husband David Burtka and their twin children: son Gideon and daughter Harper, both seven.

At least at the end of the day Sir Elton was able to say to his family: ‘I’m I m still standing. standing.’
