THE way that Meghan’s father Thomas Markle has cut across all the pomp and hypocrisy of royal protocol is refreshing.

Anyone can keep quiet, like his former wife, Doria Ragland, does.

If Meghan does disown him, it reflects more poorly on her and the Royal Family than on him. After all, he has done nothing other than speak from the heart.
