Katie Price to guest edit Woman’s Hour on R4

-

AFTER three husbands, five children and building a multi-million pound fortune, it’s fair to say Katie Price is a woman of epxerience. Now the former glamour model is being given the chance to guest edit BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour.

She will take control on Thursday and says she ‘cannot wait’ to tackle issues such as whether online abuse should become a criminal offence.

Miss Price, 40, whose eldest son Harvey has Prader-Willi syndrome, a condition which can cause learning difficulties and behavioural problems, will also ask why theme parks don’t provide wheelchair-friendly and sensory stimulation rides.

‘I have so much to talk about’, she said. ‘I would like to create awareness for people who can relate to my topics. If it helps just one person out there to know they are not alone or address issues which can make small changes to people’s lives then I have done my job.’

Price is one of five women who will be guest editing the programme.
