POT UP RUNNERS

STRAWBERRY plants will be sending out ‘runners’ — long stems with baby plants at their ends. Pot up healthy runners as they develop (then water regularly, with an occasional general purpose liquid feed) and plant them out in autumn or next spring. Destroy any runners that are showing signs of disease.
