Budget carrier Ryanair has accused German rival Lufthansa of sabotaging Laudamotion, the Austrian airline it is buying.

Lufthansa plans to end a deal to lease planes to Laudamotion, saying the Austrian carrier has failed to meet payments.

Ryanair denied this and said Lufthansa had failed to pay Laudamotion for carrying out flights on its behalf from March to May.

Lufthansa rejected Ryanair’s allegations of sabotage.
