LEEDS OWNER GRABS TV RIGHTS TO SERIE A

CRISTIANO RONALDO’S first season in Serie A with Juventus will be shown by Eleven Sports, ending six years of BT Sport showing Italian football. Eleven Sports, founded by Leeds owner Andrea Radrizzani, have secured rights for three seasons, mirroring their deal to show Spain’s La Liga, previously shown by Sky Sports. The network will launch an online subscripti­on service but are also in talks with Sky, BT and Virgin about having a channel on their platforms.
