Wonderful whistle
I WAS walking back from the shops this week when I was given a loud wolf-whistle and a pip on the car horn from a motorist (Mail). I am a tall, slim blonde and was wearing a T-shirt, shorts and sunglasses.
However, the sunglasses are to protect my eyes after cataract operations, the shorts are long enough to cover my hip replacement scar and I am almost 70.
If that wolf-whistle was a hate crime, I am delighted to be a ‘victim’. It made my day and I can’t stop smiling.
