SO, WHO IS ENGLAND’S NEW BOY PORTER?

JAMIE PORTER, 25, is a right-arm fast-medium bowler for Essex. Just five years ago he was playing part-time for Chingford and working as a recruitment consultant. He considered giving up on his dream of playing professionally but was handed a lifeline by Essex after impressing for their second XI. Bowling at around 80mph, last season he was the most prolific bowler at county level, taking 75 wickets at 16.82 to help Essex win the Championship.
