BRITAIN BY BIKE WITH LARRY & GEORGE LAMB, 8PM, CH5

ACTOR Larry Lamb and his presenter son, George, return for a second series in which they explore some of Britain’s most spectacular cycle routes. This first of six episodes finds the pair (pictured) enjoying the ruggedly beautiful scenery of Northumberland, cycling along a section of Hadrian’s Wall and visiting an archaeological dig, where Larry reveals his love of Roman history. Other stops include a family-run kipper smokehouse, Britain’s ‘most haunted’ castle and the worldfamous Kielder Observatory, in the heart of Northumberland International Dark Sky Park.
