Honour their sacrifice
WATCHING a TV discussion about Brexit, I was getting angry at all the fear-mongering and excuses made by the Remainers.
I looked up at a framed photograph on my wall of a handsome, proud young man in uniform looking a little afraid. Underneath his photograph is a poppy in remembrance.
He gave his life in France, leaving a wife and newborn baby, my mother. He was one of the many in two world
wars who sacrificed their lives for our freedom, which is now being blocked by Brussels. MARY DEAN, Banwell,
