How his colourful private life has hurt his career
Dropped after partying at club
DANNY Cipriani has had a number of scrapes in his private life which have affected his rugby career.
In 201 , the international fly-half was arrested after he crashed his £60,000 Mercedes into a taxi and injured the driver. It was just hours after a boozy celebration after winning a match in June.
In another incident in 2008, he was dropped by England after partying at a nightclub during the Six Nations. He was banned from playing in the England team for the Calcutta Cup match against Scotland at Murrayfield.
Cipriani landed in hot water in 2011 for taking a bottle of vodka from a local nightclub without paying for it and was later stood down for a month for breaching team curfews. In 2013 he spent weeks being nursed back to health by then girlfriend Kelly Brook after being hit by a bus on a pub crawl. Cipriani was attended to by paramedics after being hit in Leeds while out with his then-teammates from the Sale Sharks.
In August 201 he got into a spat with former England assistant coach Mike Catt.
The star developed a playboy reputation after a series of liaisons with high-profile women.
He began dating Cheeky Girl Monica Irimia in 2007, but their relationship came to an end when glamour model Larissa Summers claimed she’d slept with him.
Miss Irimia later warned Miss Brook not to get involved with him when the pair first started dating. Miss Brook was with him for more than two years before separating in 2010. They reunited in 2013, but broke up again amid claims he had cheated. In Miss Brook’s 2013 autobiography, she claimed they initially split up after Cipriani gave his number to a dancer while they were holidaying in Las Vegas.
He also had an affair with actress Lindsay Lohan in 2010, which ran alongside another relationship with US model Jasmine Waltz.
He began dating Katie Price in 2011, but was dumped when the model walked in on him in bed with another woman. He also dated Sky Sports presenter Kirsty Gallacher.
