80 OVERS AND OUT

GETTING 90 overs in a day is proving pure fiction. Yesterday we fell 10 short! On the first night a wicket fell at 6.26pm and everybody marched off even though there were three overs left. You’ve heard it all before from me — drinks, gloves, physios, groundstaff, doctors all cause unnecessary delays. It has to be sorted but nobody seems bothered.
