UNAI EMERY is the first permanent Arsenal boss to lose his first two games since Thomas Mitchell in April 1897. The Scotsman arrived having won the FA Cup twice with Blackburn but could not repeat his success with the Gunners. He resigned a year later with Arsenal fifth in the Second Division.
