LLONG before he w wrote Doctor Foster, Mike Bartlett had an idea for a drama about the newspaper industry, but at the time, broadcasters felt no one was interested in what journalists got up to.t Now, however, it seems the time is right for this six-part series, following staff on rival papers as they compete for stories. Charlotte Riley (pictured) stars as Holly Evans, deputy news editor of broadsheet The Herald, who clashes with Duncan Allen (Ben Chaplin), the amoral editor of tabloid rival The Post, when she sets out to write a story with a painfully personal twist.
