Hurricane lifts oil
OIL rose towards its highest price for nearly four years last night as a hurricane surged towards the US.
Traders fret that category three storm Florence will cause huge damage when it hits North and South Carolina tomorrow, disrupting supplies through a vital pipeline. With winds of 125 miles per hour expected, Brent crude rose above $80 a barrel as motorists rushed to fill tanks.
