Lloris £50k drink-drive fine
HUGO LLORIS looks shocked as he arrives in court before being found guilty of drink-driving. The World Cup-winning Tottenham goalkeeper was fined £50,000 and banned from driving for 20 months, after he pleaded guilty to driving when more than double the legal limit in his £140,000 Porsche Panamera last month. Spurs are expected to fine the 31-year-old £300,000, the equivalent of two weeks’ wages. French No 1 Lloris has been sidelined with a thigh injury and missed the 2-1 loss at Watford before the international break, but the club hope he will be fit to face Liverpool at Wembley on Saturday.
