IT’S TAKE TWO FOR MAUPAY’S BEES
BRENTFORD manager Dean Smith believes his side will become a target for promotion rivals after moving into the Championship’s top two.
Neal Maupay’s two strikes — his sixth and seventh goals of the season — clinched a 2-0 win over Wigan who had Sam Morsy sent off for an elbow.
With the Bees now second, Smith said: ‘The hardest part is trying to stay there because you become a target, but we will do what we always do and take each game as it comes.’
