Death becomes her as Jodie eyes Poirot
JODIE COMER, so good as Russian super assassin Villanelle in first-rate BBC drama Killing Eve (you can watch all eight episodes on BBC iPlayer), is in early talks to join the all-star cast of Kenneth Branagh’s version of Agatha Christie’s Death On The Nile.
It follows the filmmaker’s Murder On The Orient Express. Branagh will once again direct and play Hercule Poirot: he of the luxurious mustache and ‘ little grey cells’.
Armie Hammer is also in discussions to join the project, while Tom Bateman — who helped Branagh’s Poirot solve the last murder, is likely to join the voyage. Ms Comer, along with Sandra Oh, Fiona Shaw and Sean Delaney, are already filming season two of Killing Eve.
