Scarlett is still seeing red over Green ‘Pink’ book ban
SCARLETT CURTIS is still fuming after Topshop boss Sir Philip Green had a display in his London store devoted to her new book torn down.
Scarlett, who was joined by Strictly Come Dancing co-host Claudia Winkleman (right) at the launch in West London of her tome, Feminists Don’t Wear Pink (And Other Lies), tells me: ‘In my view he’s antifeminist. It’s horrible — he’s the epitome of the old model of how people with briefcases act.’
The 23-year-old daughter of Love Actually director Richard Curtis and broadcaster Emma Freud adds: ‘He hasn’t apologised to me and he hasn’t put it back up in Topshop.’
Over the weekend, Green told reporters: ‘I am fully a supporter of their cause and I’m sorry that there was a genuine misunderstanding.’
