Simply stunning, Rachel the new Mummy!

- By Mary O’Connor

LESS than a month after giving birth to her first child with Bond star husband Daniel Craig, Rachel Weisz dazzled on the red carpet last night.

The actress, 48, appeared at the premiere of her new 18th century regal drama, The Favourite, wearing a fitted sequinned burgundy dress with a plunging neckline.

The Oscar-winning star of The Mummy, who gave birth to her daughter just under a month ago, paired the dress with black strappy heels and wore her hair in a loose updo. Miss Weisz appeared at the premiere at the 62nd BFI London Film Festival alongside her co-stars Emma Stone, 29, and Olivia Colman, 44. La La Land star Miss Stone and Broadchurch actress Miss Colman, who plays Queen Anne in the film, both opted for metallic dresses.

Miss Stone wore a floorlength figure-hugging silver gown, while Miss Colman chose a mid-length gold number. Miss Weisz’s striking appearance is in contrast to that of her husband Craig, 50, who was pictured recently carrying their daughter in a papoose, or sling, around New York’s East Village.
