Less tax, more VAT

WITH the Government looking for more ways to generate tax revenue, why not expand the list of services subject to VAT to include bank charges, insurance, stamps and MOT tests?

This would be a great deal better than reducing the VAT registration level to £25,000, which would cripple small business, the backbone of our society. And it would produce a lot of money to pump into the NHS, too.
