Meghan’s daring dress … as couple go on ‘ babymoon’

- From Rebecca English Royal Correspondent

MEGHAN and Harry enjoyed an idyllic ‘babymoon’ last night on one of the world’s most beautiful rainforest islands.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stayed in a tree-top villa on Fraser Island, also known as K’gari – paradise.

The couple are expecting their first child next spring, and their ‘babymoon’ – or pre-baby getaway – was a rare break in a packed schedule on their 16day Commonwealth tour.

Yesterday Meghan, who is around 12 to 14 weeks pregnant, skipped most of the day’s activities to avoid travelling over the rough terrain on Fraser Island.

She did join her husband for a late afternoon stroll along the Kingfisher Bay jetty to meet locals. Wearing a slit-to-thethigh Reformation maxi dress that appeared see-through in the sunlight, Meghan arrived by car to meet Harry at the end of the pier, where he had been brought by boat.

The couple walked hand in hand, Meghan absent-mindedly cupping her tiny baby bump.

Earlier Harry dedicated an area of rainforest as part of the Queen’s Commonwealth Canopy and visited Lake McKenzie, where he paddled in the shallows. He was greeted by indigenous Butchulla people, including dancers.

The royal tour continues in Fiji today.
