Ex-partner is ‘quizzed’ over missing mum

A MISSING mother of five’s ex-partner was questioned for three days by detectives, it was claimed last night.

Neighbours said Ben Lacomba, 38, was arrested then bailed over the disappearance of Sarah Wellgreen, above, 46, two weeks ago. It is understood the beautician recently moved back into the four-bed home where she lived with him and her three youngest children in New Ash Green, Kent. It is unclear if they had rekindled their five-year relationship. Searches continued last night as police said they were ‘increasingly concerned’. Mrs Wellgreen’s car was left outside her house and her phone and bank cards have not been used. Police said it was possible she left on foot or took a lift. Mrs Wellgreen’s father Anthony urged her to ‘just come home’. He said: ‘She loves her kids and I’m sure they are really upset she’s been gone for so long.’ Neighbours said Mrs Wellgreen was ‘happy and smiley’ before she disappeared.
