QATAR NOT SO ACCOMMODATING
QATAR’S World Cup was founded on lies, so it is no surprise they keep coming. It was initially estimated 6,000 hotel rooms would need to be sited on cruise ships — 12,000 tops. Local organisers now put that figure at 20,000. Who would have thought hosting a World Cup in an area one 11th the size of New York might lead to an accommodation shortage? Oh, that’s right. Everybody.
