HOMEBUYERS are facing a postcode lottery over fees for property searches. Charges for searches, which reveal information about the house and land around it, range from £44 in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, to £333 in Hammersmith and Fulham, West London, according to property advice site Move IQ.
