TAKE THE SILK ROAD
SILK brights are a perennial favourite for spring/summer, but this year the autumn/winter collections were ablaze with them, too. Both Jasper Conran and Roksanda Ilincic sent models down the catwalk dressed headto-toe in orange and pink silk. And the High Street has taken note: December’s collections are decadent, with satin mules adorned with diamantes, wideleg trousers with frills and jeweltoned pussy-bow blouses. Don’t be afraid to mix your silks, either. Why not team a raspberry jumpsuit with a chic Alice band? Or, for the less adventurous, try statement earrings with an LBD.
