Sorrell’s new target
SIR Martin Sorrell’s advertising outfit is in talks to make its second acquisition since being launched by the 73-year-old tycoon.
S4 Capital said it was in advanced talks to snap up Mighty Hive, a San Francisco start-up that works with several major brands. The firm uses so- called ‘ programmatic advertising’, which gives robots responsibility for buying and selling ad space online. If successful, the takeover would be the second made by S4 after it bought Dutch digital ad agency Mediamonks for £300m.
