TSB seeking to buy rivals

TROUBLED bank TSB wants to buy rivals and upgrade their computer systems, its owners have said.

TSB’s expertise will be used to improve efficiency at other lenders, says Spanish parent Sabadell. That, however, is likely to raise eyebrows, given that a botched upgrade this year at TSB left 1.9m customers locked out of accounts and sparked a wave of fraud.
