FA act on Fulham claims

THE FA have appointed a former top policeman to investigat­e allegation­s made by former Fulham director Craig Kline. Mark Davison, an ex-detective inspector in serious and organised crime, is to meet the American whistleblo­wer who has made claims against his former employers and accused FA chief executive Martin Glenn of failing to act. Kline, who was Fulham’s assistant director of football, has submitted an extensive dossier alleging ‘systemic corruption, child endangerme­nt, exploitati­on and fraud’ during three years at the club from 2014 to 2017. ÷ CARDIFF have made a £25m offer for Nantes striker Emiliano Sala. Boss Neil Warnock saw the Argentine score in Nantes’ 3-2 win over Marseille on Wednesday.
