Rafa’s rage as Wolves grab win

A FURIOUS Rafa Benitez hit out at referee Mike Dean after Newcastle were beaten 2-1 by Wolves. The Spaniard accused Dean of incorrectly sending off DeAndre Yedlin with the score at 1-1 and missing an elbow in the face of Ayoze Perez which would have meant a penalty for Newcastle and a red card for Wolves’ Willy Boly. Matt Doherty struck the winner in the 94th minute to send Wolves up to 10th in the Premier League. Newcastle boss Benitez raged: ‘You cannot believe this type of situation can happen in the Premier League. ‘I’m wasting my time when you try to explain things (to the fourth official) in a polite way, it seems it’s not working. We need VAR, right now.’
