BATTLE FOR THE QUARTER-FINALS

- WILL KELLEHER

POOL 1: BATH still need to travel to Dublin to play

LEINSTER and to TOULOUSE, so chances of qualification look slim. WASPS are bottom with a nigh-on impossible mission with three bonus-point wins needed.

POOL 2: GLOUCESTER sit behind MUNSTER, so they must beat EXETER again and Munster at home to stand a chance. The Chiefs look spent in bottom spot having not won yet. POOL 3: SARACENS are reigning supreme with three wins from three. CARDIFF away next should seal their place before a trip to LYON, then GLASGOW at home. POOL 4: LEICESTER are not out yet, especially with home games against RACING 92 and ULSTER to come — but they must start taking maximum points by scoring more tries. POOL 5: NEWCASTLE are in the hunt with two wins from three — a win at home against top-placed EDINBURGH next weekend looks crucial, with MONTPELLIER away and TOULON at home to come.
