its lyrics include ‘maybe just half a drink more’ — so the male predator is clearly trying to get his date drunk. and when she asks, ‘say, what’s in that drink?’ it must be an allusion to her tipple being spiked.

as for i saw mommy kissing santa Claus, that must surely be a non- starter because nowhere is it clear that poor old sozzled santa had given consent. But then, would he be fit to, after all that sherry?
