May’s Christmas gift for a loyal pal
HOUNDED by her critics this year, she’s had a bone to pick with some.
So it was apt when Theresa May gave a dog a bone chew as a festive treat yesterday.
The PM arrived for the Christmas morning church service in her home village with the meaty treat for border collie Blitz.
The dog and his owner were at St Andrew’s in Sonning, Berkshire, when Mrs May arrived and Blitz instantly recognised the PM. She has admitted she is a fan of the collie, whom she sees regularly on her church visits. Accompanied by husband Philip, Mrs May handed the boneshaped present to the bemused pet before unwrapping it.
Later Mrs May visited a lunch arranged for people who are alone at Christmas.
