IN HER Dynasty heyday she was known for extravagant shoulder pads and power-dressing.
But these days, even Dame Joan Collins can’t resist chunky jumpers and playful fluffy antlers for a bit of Christmas fun.
The 85-year-old actress posed for a cosy festive snap in a reindeer headband as she sat surrounded by piles of presents and with a cup of tea in hand.
She described the outfit as something ‘suitable for spending Christmas Eve in front of the tree’. But even though the star was dressed casually, she still managed to look glamorous with flashes of jewellery and berry red lipstick.
The veteran actress, perhaps best known for her role in the Eighties US soap, wasn’t the only celebrity getting into the spirit of the season. Elton John delighted fans by posing in various festive glasses and asking them to vote for their favourite.
The 71-year-old, who has worn an array of outlandish specs on stage for decades, sported frames decorated with Christmas trees and puddings, reindeer antlers and wreaths. He also thanked followers on Twitter for an ‘unforgettable year’.
And never one to shy away from daring gowns, Elizabeth Hurley shared a playful Christmas Eve post on Instagram. Wearing a low-cut, black velvet dress and a diamond necklace, the 53year-old actress wrote: ‘Hope Father Christmas comes.’
