GORDON’S restaurants have been awarded 16 Michelin stars for fine dining, and currently hold a total of seven. Jamie, meanwhile, has none. While Jamie, known for his healthy-eating crusades in schools, pipped Gordon to the post by going to Buckingham Palace in 2003 to collect his MBE, Gordon went one better in 2006 when he received an OBE for services to the hospitality industry, as well as his extensive charity work.
