KERR RIB HORROR

A SERIOUS injury to Charlotte Kerr forced Charlton’s Women’s Championship match against Manchester United to be abandoned yesterday. Kerr was hurt in a collision with her own goalkeeper as Charlie Devlin put United ahead on 11 minutes. The game was stopped and the players sent to the changing rooms while Kerr received treatment on the field for what is believed to be a rib injury. An ambulance was called and the game was abandoned.
