Out of the mouths of babes

WHILE looking around a stately home, we came across a wishing tree in the beautiful gardens. Children could write their wish on a tag and hang it on a branch. In the queue in front of me were a mother with her young son, who was about five years old. When she asked her son what he would like to wish for, his reply was: ‘I wish I could go home!’
