HE’S YOUR WOOLDRIDGE AWARD WINNER FOR 2018

SIR ALASTAIR COOK was the runaway winner of this year’s Ian Wooldridge Award, named after our much-missed former chief sportswriter and voted for by our readers. It is an accolade for sporting achievements — and for carrying them off in the style and spirit Ian held dear. Dina Asher-Smith finished second, and racing driver Billy Monger third. Alastair will be presented with his award on his return to the UK.
