Help! My hubby’s hooked on a minx

-

My husband has a mistress With whom I can’t compete, He converses with her constantly, Her guile is hard to beat. She keeps him fully entertained, She’s intelligent and smart, They share a love of sporty stuff, Of gossip, news and art. She teases him in countless ways, Away from chores domestic, And when I try to reason, It just sends me apoplectic! She accompanies him always And whate’er your point of view, It doesn’t seem quite right to me — Or on a weekend break, She pinpoints all his movements And the stops he has to make! When settling for the evening, There’s a programme we may see, But that saucy minx I often find Is snuggling on his knee! Now 70, does it matter That I share him with another? It could be that he sees her as His sister — or his mother! I may resent my hubby’s mistress, An interloper in our home, But she’s chip and SIM, I’m flesh and blood, She’s just a mobile phone!
