TEST CRICKET IS DYING, SAYS ICC CHIEF MANOHAR
WORLD cricket’s most important administrator believes the Test format is in terminal decline. ICC chairman Shashank Manohar said: ‘We are trying to see if the world championship can generate interest because Test cricket is dying. Nowadays people do not have time to watch five days. Twenty20s are over in three-and-a-half hours, so it is picking up very fast.’
