TEST CRICKET IS DYING, SAYS ICC CHIEF MANOHAR

WORLD cricket’s most important administra­tor believes the Test format is in terminal decline. ICC chairman Shashank Manohar said: ‘We are trying to see if the world championsh­ip can generate interest because Test cricket is dying. Nowadays people do not have time to watch five days. Twenty20s are over in three-and-a-half hours, so it is picking up very fast.’
